Just 2 days to go for the release of Rakesh Roshan’s magnus operandi "Krazzy 4" is in some extreme trouble.
Ad jingle composer Ram Sampath has appealed to the Bombay High Court alleging that some of his advertisement tunes have been traced and copied in that film by its music director. The film is about to release on April 11, where already the music albums are out and in hot sale.
But Sampath, who has done nusic for some 3,000 advertisements, has wanted particularly to restrain Roshan from using his music in the movie, and asked Roshan's for damage cost of about Rs 2 crores.
The film's music was done by Rakesh Roshan's own brother Rajesh Roshan. But according to Sampath, 4 tracks from the film are a "direct copy" from his music for the ad for Sony Ericsson cell phones that he did last year.
According to his lawyer, when the music of this song was playing on TV channels, he found it to be similar with the tunes for those advertisements.
